These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Junction ("we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the Junction mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to use online services, if higher)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
The Service is offered worldwide subject to app store availability and local laws. You are responsible for compliance with laws in your jurisdiction.
2. Description of the Service
Junction is a UX flow puzzle game in which you:
- Place and connect nodes representing screens, actions, decisions, errors, and recovery steps
- Simulate user journeys and receive scores on UX-oriented metrics
- Play campaign levels themed around real-world product scenarios
- Compete in Blitz (timed), Vs Computer, Online Blitz, and Daily Challenge modes
- Use Sandbox to experiment without constraints
- Access Learn lessons, quizzes, and external design resources
- Generate UX Flow Audit reports (premium feature) and export PDFs locally
- Purchase subscriptions and in-app products to unlock additional content
We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific level counts, or permanent access to any particular mode.
3. Accounts and guest play
3.1 Account creation
You may create an account using:
- Email and password
- Google Sign-In
- Apple Sign-In (iOS; required by Apple when other third-party sign-in options are offered)
You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3.2 Guest play
You may use the Service without an account as a guest. Guest progress is stored locally on your device and may be lost if you uninstall the app or clear app data.
When you sign in, you may link guest progress to your account. Linked data is subject to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
3.3 Display names
You choose a display name during onboarding. Display names must:
- Be at least 2 characters
- Not impersonate another person or entity
- Not be offensive, misleading, or violate third-party rights
- Be unique within the Service (enforced by our systems)
We may reject, remove, or require changes to display names that violate these rules.
3.4 Account security
Notify us immediately at toobajatoi44@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account where you failed to safeguard credentials.
3.5 One account per person
You may not create multiple accounts to manipulate matchmaking, ratings, referrals, or promotions. We may merge or terminate duplicate accounts.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law
- Use cheats, exploits, automation, bots, scripts, or modified clients—especially in Online Blitz or competitive modes
- Interfere with servers, APIs, matchmaking, or other users' experience (including DDoS, scraping, or queue manipulation)
- Access another user's account or data without authorization
- Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse other users via display names or any communication channel
- Upload or enter unlawful, infringing, or harmful content (including in custom node labels)
- Circumvent paywalls, entitlement checks, or premium content restrictions
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission
- Use the Service to train competing AI/ML models on our levels, copy, or scoring systems without permission
We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
5. Virtual items and game balance
The Service includes virtual items and currencies, including but not limited to:
- XP (experience points)
- Coins (earned through gameplay; may unlock certain levels)
- Streaks and daily progress markers
- Online ratings, wins, and losses
- Level unlocks and stars
Virtual items:
- Have no real-world monetary value
- Are not transferable outside the Service
- Are not redeemable for cash or equivalents
- May be adjusted, reset, or removed as part of game balance updates, bug fixes, or account enforcement
We may modify earning rates, costs, scoring formulas, and rewards at any time. We are not liable for changes to virtual items or progression systems.
6. Subscriptions and in-app purchases
6.1 Products
Junction offers digital products through the Apple App Store and Google Play, including:
- UX Flow Pro subscription (monthly and yearly)
- World unlocks (e.g. Fintech, SaaS)
- Learn Full curriculum access
- UX Flow Audit feature access
Product names, prices, and availability may vary by region and store. Prices displayed in-app may be approximate until confirmed by the store at purchase time.
6.2 Billing
All payments are processed by Apple or Google, not directly by us. You agree to the applicable store's terms when making a purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (per store rules). Your store account will be charged for renewal.
6.3 Free trials and promotional access
Some premium worlds include free trial levels (for example, the first 3 levels in a premium world). Free content does not grant full entitlement unless purchased or included in an active subscription.
6.4 Restore purchases
You may use Restore Purchases to re-sync entitlements on a new device. Restoration requires the same store account used for the original purchase.
6.5 Refunds
Refund requests must be submitted to Apple or Google under their refund policies. We do not control store refund decisions.
Except where required by law, all purchases are final once consumed or after applicable store refund windows expire.
6.6 RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements. Purchase status is verified with app store receipts; we do not store your payment card details.
7. Game modes and online play
7.1 Campaign, Daily, Blitz, Sandbox, Learn
These modes are primarily single-player. Scores and progress are stored locally and/or in your account cloud save.
7.2 Vs Computer
You compete against AI opponents with configurable difficulty. Results affect local stats only unless otherwise stated.
7.3 Online Blitz
Online Blitz matches you with another player (or a bot fallback if no human opponent is available within a reasonable time):
- Matches are asynchronous — each player completes the puzzle independently
- Your display name, rating, score, and live board state during the match may be visible to your opponent
- Results may update your online rating, wins, and losses
- We do not guarantee fair matchmaking, latency, or availability in all regions or at all times
You agree not to stall, abandon, or manipulate matches to unfairly affect ratings.
7.4 Service availability
We may perform maintenance, updates, or emergency shutdowns without notice. We are not liable for lost progress, ratings, or virtual items due to downtime, except where prohibited by law.
8. User content
You may create custom node labels and puzzle configurations in Sandbox and certain levels. You retain ownership of text you enter, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display that content solely as needed to operate the Service (for example syncing your board during Online Blitz).
You represent that your user content does not violate third-party rights or applicable law. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
The Service does not provide public user-generated content feeds or social posting features at this time.
9. Intellectual property
9.1 Our rights
Junction and its original content—including but not limited to app design, UI, level scenarios, scoring systems, lesson text, icons, trademarks, and software—are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9.2 Limited license to you
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to download and use the Service on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial entertainment and learning.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or included software, nor reverse engineer it, except as permitted by applicable law.
9.3 Third-party brands
Campaign levels may reference well-known companies, products, or UX patterns for educational and parodic puzzle purposes. Such references do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation unless explicitly stated.
All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.
9.4 Feedback
If you submit suggestions, bug reports, or feedback, you grant us the right to use them without compensation or attribution obligation.
10. UX Flow Audit and exports
The UX Flow Audit generates automated feedback based on your puzzle graph and simulation results. Audit output is informational only and does not constitute professional UX, legal, or business advice.
PDF exports are generated on your device. You control where shared files are sent. We are not responsible for how you distribute exported reports.

By using the Service, you consent to data practices described there.
12. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Scores, audits, or lessons are accurate, complete, or suitable for professional use
- Defects will be corrected
- The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of implied warranties; in those cases, the above exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) USD $50 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US THROUGH THE APP STORES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for personal injury, fraud, or certain consumer rights; in those cases, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Junction and its developer from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights
- User content you submit
We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense of any matter subject to indemnification; you agree to cooperate.
15. Suspension and termination
15.1 By you
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may delete the app from your device. To delete account data, contact toobajatoi44@gmail.com.
15.2 By us
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you:
- Violated these Terms
- Engaged in fraud, abuse, or cheating
- Created risk or legal exposure for us or other users
- Failed to pay applicable subscription fees (via store cancellation)
Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including Sections 9, 12–14, 16–18) will survive.
15.3 Store removal
If the app is removed from the App Store or Google Play, your ability to download updates may cease. Existing entitlements may remain subject to store policies.
16. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. When we change Terms materially, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide notice through the app or email.
Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, unless applicable law requires explicit consent.
If you do not agree to revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would apply another jurisdiction's laws.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting toobajatoi44@gmail.com. If informal resolution fails within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pakistan, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
Nothing in this section limits your right to bring claims in small claims court where eligible, or rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
18. General provisions
18.1 Entire agreement
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Junction regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on the same subject.
18.2 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
18.3 No waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right.
18.4 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
18.5 Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (including internet outages, app store actions, natural disasters, or government orders).
18.6 Apple and Google
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.
